I know it’s been a while since our last post, but I’m happy to announce that we are making good progress on the second Slow Sunrise CD!  No exact release date yet, but we have 10 new songs that we are extremely proud of.

This sophomore release leans more toward the organic side and leaves out all the synthy/clubby  sounds that were present on the first release.  The first CD was a project I did by myself (before the band got together) in my bedroom after my wife passed.  Since it was recorded by myself on the computer, it lent itself to include those synth/dance sounds that were so popular at the time, but once the band got together, we quickly fell back into our roots of jamming and organic/old school textures.  We’re still looking for a keyboard/organ player, but suffice it to say that the new tunes definitely bring you back to the good old days when musicians played real instruments and jamming was not only allowed, but celebrated!
